A story with Gaga
Last year, I asked my parents to take a recordable story book to Gaga's house and record her reading Frosty the Snowman. The boys love listening to it and asked to listen to it tonight!

Impromptu Family Photos
Linda had the great idea of taking some improptu family photos while the weather was nice and we were all in town. The problem was I had forgotten my camera at home, so cell phone to the rescue, it actually did an awesome job.
Isn't this truck the coolest?!

For your entertainment, there was a goat on the farm that did not take kindly to me. Genny said she doesn't seem to like girls, because she's only ever head butted girls, never guys. So, I'm taking photos and the goal pulls on the straps of my boots. I take a step away and shoo her off, but she follows. When I finish and try to walk past her to get in the photo, she rammed her horns into my leg. I'm not sure who made it over first to get her away from me, but I'm thankful for them because she was rearing back to do it again. I wasn't much help and kind of froze...are you supposed to run from an attacking goat?
I took this photo when we arrived, I'm not getting this close to her again!
Thanksgiving Fun
We had a great Thanksgiving weekend with family and all sorts of fun.
We stopped at a truck stop on the way (always an experience) and saw this giant Twix bar. After the boys realized we really weren't going to buy it for them, they asked for a photo with it.
They love Linda and Leland's cat, Mittens. Mittens had constant followers while we were there, while she seemed to enjoy the attention, she would also go hide for a brief escape.
Sporting their pumpkin pie shirts on Thanksgiving!
Everyone gathers in the kitchen waiting for the gravy to be ready!
The boys liked having their own table for dinner.
We even got to meet Eliana, Linda and Leland's great-niece. She was just 10 days old!
The boys did a craft project - painting ornaments.

Karsten likes to draw using tutorials he finds on YouTube, and Trent likes to draw anything! They were so cute working right next to each other on their photos.
Karsten's turkey turned out awesome - we'll need to find the perfect spot for it!
We celebrated Liam, Taylor and Leland's birthdays!
I think Monopoly is going to be a new favorite at our house!
The boys also spent quite a bit of time outside playing, we were lucky to have some beautiful weather! The boys adore their cousins and weren't more than a few steps behind them all weekend, you always knew you would find Karsten and Liam wherever Trent was!
Christmas Decorations
We got home from Linda and Leland's last night, but everyone was tired and a little grumpy, so we decided to put the Christmas decorations up today. The boys were excited to decorate the tree, and I loved watching them rediscover and get excited about the ornaments as we unpacked them.
The front and bottom of the tree were the most popular locations for the tree, but we managed to convince them to spread the ornaments throughout the tree.
We were putting the packing material away from the ornaments and I turned around to see this adorable picture.
Check out our new tree skirt - Linda made it for us, it's all cross stitched. Isn't it beautiful! I just love the poinsettias and all of the beautiful colors!
