Tiger Scout Badge

This was Karsten's first year of Boy Scouts, and he seemed to enjoy all of the activities required to get his badge.  We'll have to see if he wants to continue with it next year.

Tonight there was a BBQ for all the families, then a short ceremony where the boys got their badges.  They started with the Boy Scout oath.

Then, each boy got to come up and shake the hands of their Den leaders and get their badge.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

The schools have been having all sorts of festivities to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss, and I was so excited when I saw a sign-up inviting parents to come read.  I like to take any chance I get to visit the boys classrooms.

We rounded up our Dr. Seuss books, and Liam helped me choose 'The Thinks you can Think".  

The kids got to wear crazy hats to celebrate Dr. Seuss.
