We were chatting at dinner tonight, and somehow the conversation turned to money.  Liam mentioned that he had given Karsten money, then started talking about something else.  I said...waiting a minute, back up.

Me: You gave Karsten money?  Why?
Liam: (with a sheepish grin) I gave him a $10 because I had an extra.
Me: Oh honey, that's super nice of you, but  that's your money and Karsten needs to give it back.

Marvelous Mother's Day

I had an amazing Mother's Day today.  The boys and Scott spoiled me and it was a wonderful, relaxing day!

We began the day with breakfast with my parents, then church.  Before we left the house, I got to open the cards the boys made as well as the presents they got me!  The boys even made a fairy garden for me - with all fake plants since I am 'challenged' at keeping real plants alive!

How cute are these note cards with Karsten's finger prints made into animals?!  I need to figure out something to do with these, frame them or display them somehow.  These aren't getting used for notes!

The boys both wanted to sit by grandma at breakfast. :)

After breakfast, we went back to my parents house where we took a few photos.

After church, we came home and had a relaxing afternoon.  The boys washed my car and I got to take a nap!  Scott made a delicious dinner of shrimp and grits.

I'm a lucky girl to have such a wonderful husband and boys!

Baseball Brother

It's been a busy baseball week at our house - Karsten had baseball games on Monday and Tuesday evening, and Liam had t-ball practice on Tuesday evening.  Liam is interested in the game for a few minutes at the beginning, then he plays for a few minutes, then about 20 minutes in to the game, he asks to watch something on our phones.
