Tonight Karsten was playing on the quilt and I was trying to take some pictures of him - he's getting used to having a camera in his face. I think he'll know that his mom is near when he sees a flash. I was talking to him and all of a sudden - HE SMILED! I've been waiting and hoping he would smile soon, I was sooo excited - even better, I got a picture of it!!

I can't explain why, but my first thought was "Wow, he looks a little like Shirley Maclaine."
