Piano Men

I am a HUGE Billy Joel fan so when I heard that Billy Joel and Elton John would be in concert here, I was ESTASTIC! The concert was originally scheduled for December but Elton John got sick so it was postponed to Feb. 27th. I listened to Billy Joel all week and by the time Saturday rolled around I was very excited!

The very first song they played was the Elton John song, 'Your Song', that I pulled a quote from for Karsten's room. "How wonderful life is now you're in the world" is on the wall above his changing table. I was so excited to hear them sing it as a duet.

Not a great picture but it was so funny to see them link arms and skip in a circle.


The stage with the dueling pianos and all of the band members from both bands. Billy Joel's piano could turn in circles.

The songs they sang together were so great. They covered all of the great classics off each of their great albums. The show ended with Billy Joel playing harmonica

and both of them playing piano for Piano Man. Sing me a song of a Piano man, sing me a song tonight....
