After we got up and around, we headed to the farmer's market to get some fresh fruits and veggies. We have tomato plants that are doing fantastic, so we needed a few odds and ends to make a few things using all of our tomatoes. There's a fantastic middle eastern restaurant there, so we had a yummy lunch then headed home so Karsten could take a nap.
While he took a nap, Scott and I made Salsa! It turned out pretty well - next time I won't add so much sugar. I'm sure salsa is one of those things that takes a while to find the perfect recipe.
When Karsten woke up, we decided to try out his new raft at the pool. He wasn't thrilled with the raft at first; however, after playing in the water for a while, he was willing to sit in it. By the time we left, he was a happy camper floating around in his raft.
I think someone needs another nap!
Whew - what a great day. We had a bottle of wine from our trip to Hermann with dinner and by the time Karsten was ready for bed, I was ready to go to sleep as well!
