It's unseasonably warm here for October, so they were able to play outside quite a bit. The first day they spent most of the day playing outside, planting flowers, going to the park, and picking up sticks and leaves in the yard. He was a very sleepy boy at the end of the day - Grandma wore him out!
One night we played with the play-doh. He is getting better at using all of the play-doh tools each time we play. He likes to try to use the scissors; however, he still has trouble figuring out how to make them work.
He was having lots of fun with the 'spaghetti'. We even made play-doh meatballs to go with the spaghetti. We had to remind him not to eat the meatballs, they were only pretend. :)
O WOW, more spaghetti!

One night we played with all of the balls that Uncle Kevin gave Karsten for Christmas. The fun game was to throw all of the balls on the sofa, then to fall on top of the balls so Daddy couldn't get them.
Then he found his play penguin and made it walk around a bit.
He had so much fun playing in the tube that attaches to the tent Gail and Steve gave him for his birthday.
