Good to be home

After a few days in the hospital, it was nice to be home and begin to discover what will become our new normal as a family of four. Karsten is doing a great job adjusting to having Liam at home. He will come over and give Liam a kiss on the head, always says 'I love my baby brother', and is a good helper for us.

When Karsten got home from Gail's that day, I was holding Liam. Karsten came over to sit on my lap and wanted to hold Liam. Before I knew it he was trying to take Liam out of my hands.

Karsten loves this magnetic fishing puzzle that Liam gave him. It's offered endless entertainment so far.

Liam decided to check out the swing for a bit - he is a fan. I see more swinging in his future. Check out the cool blanket - one of my thoughtful coworkers made this for him. Isn't it cute - and yes, it's as soft and warm as it looks! We've been using it a LOT!

All snuggled in and cozy in the swing.

My mom holding Liam while I finished eating dinner. Huge thank you to my parents as well as Linda and Leland for all of the help while we were in the hospital and when we got home. Karsten and Madison had a great weeks staying with my parents and it was very helpful to have someone helping with meals and taking care of Karsten when we got home.
