Liam's Fun Day

While we were having Karsten's special day, Liam got to spend the day with my parents.  We started the day by meeting at Krispy Kreme, thinking that a donut and grandparents would be enough to distract him from the fact that we would be leaving with yaya (aka Karsten).  Things were going well until Karsten and Scott told Liam goodbye, then Liam started crying.  When we drove past, Grandma was holding him and he was crying with his arms out.  Break my heart!

By the time we got to Lego Land, my mom said he was still crying and upset.  By the time they got to Deanna Rose to see the animals, he was still upset, but he calmed down once he saw the cows.  WHEW!


He got to feed a bottle to the baby goats.  The goats are very aggressive and will jump on you to try to convince you to feed THEM the bottle.  My mom said he did a good job and wasn't too scared of the goats.


He got a push on the tractors from Papa!


He had a lot of fun watching and feeding the ducks.  My mom said he could have watched them for a looong time.


Feeding them was so much fun! If you look closely, you can see him dropping a pellet of food in the water.






And a trip to Deanna Rose is not complete without ice cream, even if it's before lunch!


After Karsten's fun day, we dropped him off as well so both boys could spend the night with Grandma and Papa.  Scott and I were looking forward to a nice dinner together and sleeping in on Sunday morning!  It was a fun day and night had by all!
