The neighbor boys found a snake and a salamander and were excited to show the boys.
They very politely asked if I would like to hold the snake - my response was a quick NO!
Liam was brave and held the snake first.
Karsten refused at first, but when Liam held it, Karsten decided to give it a shot.
My neighbor kindly offered to let us take the snake home with us, but thankfully the boys weren't within earshot when she said this and the snake stayed safely at their house!
