Karsten is a big fan of swinging. You might remember his time on the first swing when we went to the park. Since then he has also had a great time on the swing at Mrs. Gail's. We decided he needed a swing of his very own. He doesn't need a whole swingset (yet), so we just wanted a frame that we could hang his little swing from.
Grandpa to the rescue! He built this great frame and Scott helped put it together so Karsten could have his very own swing.
Scott and Chuck (grandpa) assembling the swingset.

Success! The swing is a big hit. He giggled for the first few minutes in the swing.
Looks like he's saying "Thanks grandpa - I love my swing!

One last swing before we go to dinner. It's still a big hit!
Waiting to get a table at Stroud's. He had a great time watching the cars drive by and all the people waiting for their table.
Grandma feeding Karsten chicken, green beans and mashed potatos. He's a huge fan of Stroud's now too. He even tried some of the cinnamon buns and liked them, but unfortunately he was full by then.
After a busy day playing on his new swing and having a big dinner, he was worn out. Luckily grandma was happy to hold him and let him rest.
