Playing Games

Now that Karsten is all over the place, the toys and games we play have gotten a bit different. Karsten is no longer content to sit in one place for very long to play - he's a busy guy that needs to be crawling around to see what's going on.

Gail said he's been doing a great job cruising around the furniture at daycare - guess once he figured it out he is ready to practice it!

Playing with his animal puzzle. I think Scott was mimicing the sounds the animals in the puzzle make and Karsten was cracking up.

Playing with blocks - Mike and Pat gave him these fun alphabet blocks. Once he knocked down the little stack of blocks, he was ready to tackle the stack that was taller than he is.

I thought this was adorable...

I think this must be a guy thing - I didn't think "hmmm, there's a tower, we should ride the car through it" I think I have a lot to learn. :)

The ever popular stacking rings. He likes to throw the rings and watch them spin on the floor.

He discovered the yard stick sitting out the other night - it provided lots of entertainment.
And he found a spoon when we were emptying the dish washer and had a great time examining it, banging it on things and carrying it around. He was very unhappy when he couldn't take the spoon up to bed with him.
