Helping dad

It was so nice outside this weekend and Scott has been itching to work in his yard. After lunch, Scott headed outside to mow and Karsten wanted to follow to help. We played for a while until Scott was mostly done mowing so Karsten wouldn't get hit by flying grass. Once we were outside, he was always one step behind Scott so he could 'help'.

Putting the mulch in the wheel barrow. Much of the mulch ended up back at his feet, but he was trying valiantly to get it in the wheel barrow.

Scott put a smaller pot next to the wheel barrow thinking it would be easier for Karsten to put the dirt in it...umm, not so much. :)

Look at those rosy cheeks - someone was getting hot from all that work outside. It was just about time for a water and snack break. He did NOT want to come inside, he was having way too much fun.
