Karsten had fun playing with Taylor's power tools with Grandpa. The tools are so cool, they light up and make noises like real tools (I'm officially a mom of boys if I think power tool toys are cool, aren't I?). There were even goggles to wear when you're cutting things - he was ADorable with them on, but he took them off before I could get a pic.
Playing with Taylor's new swords he got for Christmas.
Liam and Grandpa talking.
Kelli and fam got Karsten this fun pizza set. The round disks have velcro on them so you can attach them to the pizza to make different flavor combinations. I love Melissa and Doug toys and food sets - I just have one tiny rant for their designers. If they are going to design these cool wooden boxes to hold all of the (53!) pieces in the sets, they need LIDS for the boxes. How do they expect those 53 pieces to stay in close proximity to each other? Jeez! I think we'll be engineering a lid for the pizza tray - Karsten is having a great time with the pizza so we want to keep all of these topping disks.
Linda showing off her new mug with a pic of Liam and Karsten. When Karsten handed the package to Linda, he said "here's your coffee" - good thing she didn't know what he meant. Guess we'll have to work on not telling people what's IN the package before they open it. :)
Grandma and Grandpa with Liam. He was a happy guy hanging out watching everything going on.
It was a great day, and a wonderful conclusion to the Christmas season!
