A purple celebration

Since Kevin, Nancy, Michael and Gaga were coming in town for Liam's baptism, it was the perfect time to celebrate Christmas (well, that and Liam's trip to the hospital on Christmas ruined my parents trip to Nebraska for Christmas).  It also happened to be the evening of the Cotton Bowl so there was present opening and Christmas fun, all while keeping a close eye on the Wildcats playing in the Cotton Bowl.

Karsten was smiling for my mom but stopped when I got close, I just caught a partial smile here.

Karsten hadso much fun playing trains with Michael and Nancy.  It was a whole new world when they showed him that Thomas could drive on something other than his tracks.


Nancy made tunnels for Thomas then Karsten wanted to go through the tunnels as well so they became floating tunnels.




One of the books in the tunnel had two holes in it which made the perfect holes to watch the train in the tunnel.

Gaga made this beautiful quilt for Liam.


Such a helpful brother!


Liam liked it when Nancy danced around with him.


It was a fun evening - great to catch up with everyone and Liam enjoyed meeting the rest of his family!
