Another pumpkin

A friend at work told me about this cool pumpkin patch that her family visited the following weekend.  She said her kids had a great time and there were lots of variations of pumpkins.  I wanted a flattened pumpkin (think normal pumpkin but squished), but I didn't find one during our first pumpkin patch trip.  When Sunday turned out to be a beautiful day, we decided to head out and check out the pumpkin patch.

There were no fancy corn mazes or slides and playgrounds at this pumpkin patch - it was all about finding your perfect pumpkin.  You could walk out into the field or hop onto a truck and take a hayride around the field.  Since the hayride is Karsten's favorite part of the pumpkin patch, we chose to ride the hayride out and back.

Despite the clouds, it was a beautiful day - 75 degrees in October!

Searching for the perfect pumpkin together

This place had so many HUGE pumpkins.  Karsten and Scott tried to pick this one up - 'like a team'.

Striking a pose on a huge pumpkin.

I wore Liam in the Baby Bjorn since we knew the pumpkin patch wouldn't be stroller friendly.  He enjoyed it for most of the time, but after wandering for a while in the pumpkin patch, he was ready to be free and be able to crawl around on his own.

This place was huge!  Pumpkins as far as you could see!

Karsten said these pumpkins had blueberries on them.

Headed back to find the hayride back in.  We had a fun day at the pumpkin patch - we'll definitely add this to our list of fall fun next year!
