Puzzled

I realized that when Karsten was Liam's age, we were playing with puzzles to help him learn.  So, we got out the puzzles and Karsten immediately wanted to play with the puzzles somewhere where Liam wouldn't get them. That's Karsten's new thing - he'll get out a toy, but when Liam comes over and tries to play with it, Karsten will say 'I think I'll put this toy away now." We have some work to do on sharing.

Anyhoo, I digress.  After we convinced Karsten to show Liam how the puzzle worked and to play WITH him, there was much fun had by all.


Liam would pick up a puzzle piece and hand it to Karsten.  One time Karsten wasn't paying attention and Liam crawled over to Karsten and put it in his face.


He would pick up a puzzle piece and plop it back down on the puzzle.  He didn't seem to be overly interested in the animal noises that the puzzle made, he was more interested in playing with the pieces.


Karsten found another puzzle he used to play with and decided the construction trucks were far more interesting than the animals.


I think we need to get the puzzles out more often, this was fun!
