I love the focused look on his face as he cut into this bud to show me.
Liam wasn't too happy that Karsten got tools to help Scott and he didn't.
But he quickly found other ways to entertain himself with the branches.
Then Liam decided he wanted to swing for a while. He's a big fan of the swing for short periods, but he doesn't like to be in one place for too long.
And what one does, the other follows. Karsten gave up his pruning shears for the fort.
Liam was getting frustrated that Karsten could climb up the rock wall and he didn't know how.
The slide is a favorite of both boys.
Trying so hard to be like his big brother.
Pure joy!
After the branch cleanup and a nap for the boys, it was time to plant the peach tree we bought. Scott got started on the hole while the boys were sleeping and this was their first inspection.
They got their shovels out so they could help with the digging.
Liam apparently thought the shovel was just a big spoon. He took a bite of dirt and as we were saying 'NO LIAM' he was trying to spit it out and wipe it out of his mouth. That's mud drool you see on his shirt. :)
After much digging, the tree is finally in the ground. We're optimistically hoping for one or two peaches this year, but we'll see. Scott tells me that I need to be patient because it could take a few years. That's not really my way - I would like enough peaches for peach pie, this year. :)
