Super Saturday

We kicked off our 'Super Saturday' with swimming lessons.  The battery on my camera died, so I was left with my cell phone to take pictures so I don't have too many pics to share.  Don't listen to Scott if he tells you it was because I was chatting. :)  Karsten is doing a good job listening to the teacher, he only has to be reminded to pay attention and a few times.  There are two other classes going on in the pool, so there is plenty to look at.

Then we went down to the farmers market to check out what was available and to have lunch.  This isn't a great picture of the boys, but it entertains me that Liam is pushing Karsten out of his personal space.  Liam is developing more of a personality each day and showing that he might be the little brother but he knows how he likes things done.

We walked past a stand selling yard art and I pointed out these bug catcher nets while trying to distract the boys from the tractor train rides.  After much pleading and deal making, we went back to get Karsten a net.  When Liam saw Karsten with the net, he pointed back at the other nets and said DAAAAA, DAAAA, DAAAA, which we interpreted as 'I want a net too, pleeeease'.

Liam wouldn't let that net out of his hands which made it a tiny bit difficult to navigate.  We managed to angle the net such that we wouldn't take everyone out as we walked around.

We went into a store to buy some seeds and spices, but after a few minutes, the nets proved to be a bit too challenging in a store, so we waited outside.  We found some cool wind sculptures that were a bit hit with the boys.

We worked hard to get Karsten to carry the net like this - he heard 'carry it up and down, Karsten' or 'put the handle by your toes' almost every minute.  Thankfully he always listened and we avoided smacking anyone in the head with it.  :)

After short naps, the boys helped Scott in the yard and we got ready for my parents and Gaga to join us for dinner. Stay tuned for those pictures!
