Backyardigans

Are you tired of pictures of the boys playing outside yet? I hope not, because there are many more pictures where these came from!

We've been pleased that the daffodils we transplanted from Scott's mom's house have finally bloomed and grown a lot this year.

Be sure you take time to smell the flowers!

These mischevious boys are 'admiring' the flowers after I told them they could not pick them.

They were good supervisors for Scott while he was digging holes for some bushes we transplanted from my parent's house.  Seeing a trend - Scott won't turn down any plans that are being displaced - and I'm glad because it's made our yard look so pretty!

Our backyard is so full of rocks, this one is a pebble compared to the huge rocks that Scott was digging up in order to plant the bushes.  We think they must have dumped all of the rock from the ground where our basement was into the area that is now our backyard which makes it a challenge to plant things or grow grass!

Liam can now climb up the rock wall on his own - he's becoming such a big boy!

Who me - I wasn't throwing rocks down the slide!?

Oh well, rocks down the slide aren't hurting anyone.

Karsten wanted someone to push him on the swing, but he wasn't happy with how high he could go with Liam pushing him.  Thankfully for Liam, Karsten hasn't mastered pumping his legs while swinging, otherwise, Karsten may have kicked him.

We told Karsten he was doing a good job watering the bushes and that this should be his new job.  He said. 'good, then Liam can throw away the napkins after dinner.'  Well, that's not quite how things work.  You can have more than one 'job' at a time.

This is what happened when we said it was time to go inside and get ready for bed.  There was wailing, shreeking and crying - and that was just Liam.  Karsten tried negotiating - 'if I come inside now can I have a rock in my jar?'
