Bittersweet Farewell

Liam has grown so much with his speech skills over the past 18 months.  When we first started speech therapy for him, the max age for the program, 3 years, seemed so far away.  As we all knows, time flies and the day has finally come when Liam is no longer eligible for speech therapy because he turned three.

We're sad to say goodbye to Ms. Paula, we've all enjoyed getting to know her over the past year and a half.  She not only helped Liam learn, but she always took time to talk to Karsten and check out what he was showing her - he felt like she was there to see him as well.


This visit was a little later in the evening than normal, so the boys already have their PJs on.  Liam was unhappy that Ms. Paula wasn't coming back, so he refused to sit by her for a picture.  But, we were able to get him laughing!


Thank you Ms. Paula - we were so lucky to have you as Liam's speech therapist!
