Scrapbooking retreat

This weekend I went to our annual scrapbooking 'retreat' at a local church.  It begins at 4pm on Friday and continues through 4pm on Saturday.  We all went home to sleep around midnight and were back around 8:30 or 9am the next morning.

Kelli (the gal sitting to my right in this picture) was awesome and coordinated matching shirts for us.  Jenn did the design - in case you can't read it, it says 'I've got my scrap together'. We were missing a few ladies this year - Karla, Kristi and Patty, we missed you!

Believe it or not, we got a lot done!  We spent a fair amount of time chatting, eating and relaxing.  The food is catered by a family at the church who own a catering business, and it's fantastic.  We look forward to the meals all year!

One of the many laughs we had over the weekend was about this sign on an exterior door.  Apparently, this sign is supposed to communicate to you that the door swells when it's cold and may be tough to open.  Did you guess that from this sign? No?  Us either. :)

Hopefully we'll be able to coordinate calendars so we can get together before next January!
