Last night Karsten got to try spaghetti (aka Sketti) and at first he wasn't so sure about it. I gave him a noodle to play with and he tore it into little pieces without really eating any of it. After a bit of some pasta, sauce and a meatball he seemed to be a fan.
He's doing pretty well with trying new food. At his 9 month doctor appointment the doctor gave us the green light for trying almost any food so we're starting to give him more food from the table. On Easter he had ham and mashed potatoes, he's had chicken and now hamburger.
Playing with the noodle and pulling it apart.

He initially didn't know how to get any stray noodles into his mouth. Eventually he used his little hand to push them in. It was too funny.

Very proud of himself for eating sketti like a grown up!

After dinner we have to do the dishes - he likes to pull up on the dishwasher. We're working on learning what "no" means when he tries to pull stuff out of the dishwasher.
