This and That

Just a random post to share all the fun stuff Karsten's doing these days:

*If he sees you take a drink or he takes a drink, he will say "AHH"...that one is hard to describe in writing...you know, the sound you make after you take a drink that's very refreshing. Anyway...it's super cute. :)

*High five - you can hold out your hand and say "Give me 5" and he will!

*Playing peek a boo - not just peeking around a corner or hiding his face but turning his head back and forth to play peek a boo...even if you're not playing. At first we weren't sure why he was shaking his head back and forth quickly...then we realized he was mimicking what we sometimes do when we play peek a boo.

*Shaking his head "no" - this is a new development. We think it evolved from peek a boo. We haven't decided if he knows what it means yet.

*His smile has changed a bit - now he scrunches his nose a little and his eyes get a bit squinty. It's still pretty darn cute.

*Trying to stand on his own. Until today it had been a max of about 5 seconds before he would fall down. Today he probably lasted 20 seconds or so before he plopped down.
