Capturing moments

I had grand plans of snapping a few pictures of the boys after church last Sunday. I envisioned big smiles from both boys while they were looking at the camera.  LOL - did you just laugh?  You should have!

I started with Liam (since he can't run away) and planned to snag Karsten for a few brother shots. Liam would smile at my silly noises and big smiles, but I couldn't catch the quick smiles with my camera.  Nonetheless, I think he looked pretty handsome!  Cracks me up how he has his arm propped up on the chair - he's just kickin' back and relaxing.
 



He was talking to me here - remember, he's been quite the chatterbox lately!  I love it!


Then we (I had recruited Scott as a helper) talked Karsten into getting in the chair with Liam.  He decided he wanted to talk to him before he got in the chair; then shrieked 'MOMMY, LIAM HAS MY HAIR. AHHHHHHH'.  Remove the word hair and insert a toy name, and I think we'll hear that phrase a lot in the next few years. :)


But we quickly recovered and they resumed talking to each other.  Look at how Liam is holding onto Karsten's finger.  So sweet.


Karsten was singing a song to Liam which get's big smiles almost every time.  Liam loves singing!




You get bonus points with Liam if you sing AND move his arms around.  Karsten is a pro at this.


Having so much fun! I don't mind that my perfectly posed pictures didn't happen - these are priceless moments.
