Karsten was excited to get started picking up the eggs he could see just a few feet in front of him.
Planning the strategy for picking up the eggs.
Ready, set, go!
When he added this egg to the basket and it popped open, he said 'CANDY!' I don't think he knew what was in the eggs until he saw the candy.
Then it was time to empty the eggs so they could be recycled for next year's egg hunt.
I kept trying to get him to look at me so I could get a good picture. To be fair, it was super bright outside, so I think the sun hurt his eyes when he looked up at me. Oh well!
He didn't want to let his candy out of his sight. Thankfully we were able to negotiate it's release - I had visions of it going flying all over the backseat!
After the egg hunt we headed to our church where they also had an egg hunt. The easter bunny was going to be at the church egg hunt, so we wanted to see if we could catch him and say hi. We made it in time; however, Karsten was not interested in saying Hi!
He wasn't having any of it - he wouldn't even give the bunny a high five.
Then we headed home and I thought I would try to get a few pictures outside. Karsten is tired of looking at my camera so he would look at anything except me. Little tease!
My two cuties
He did this all on his own - such a good big brother.
Karsten helped Scott plant these tulips last fall and we were all glad to see them bloom! Karsten was seeing if they smelled good.
Scott was telling him all about the flower.
Happy spring!
