Happy Father's Day

Since Scott's father's day present was also partially his birthday present, he didn't have anything to open on Father's Day - that's until Gail saved the day with a super cool craft project with Karsten.  He decorated this mug with flowers/trees (he changes his mind about what they are) and Gail wrote Happy Fathers Day.  Adorable, he loved it!  When we drove home on Friday, I told Karsten that he shouldn't tell Daddy about the mug until Sunday because it was a secret.  I thought it soaked in, but when we got home, Karsten said 'Daddy I made you a secret you can drink out of'.  Scott looked a bit confused an I laughed.  I quickly changed the subject, hid the mug and we didn't discuss again until Sunday.

Helping daddy open his mug.

Scott and his boys.  I'm loving the orange and turquoise combo - perhaps a color combo for family pics in the future?

Karsten was reading Scott what he 'wrote' in the card I made.  I'm currently addicted to making cards at treat.com. You can upload pictures, customize the text and get a personalized card for less that what you would pay for a card at the store.  Everyone who has received one seems to like them.

After opening presents, we headed to church, then met my parents at Stroud's for lunch.

And after a nap, the boys played with each other for a bit.  Liam loves to watch Karsten and gets a huge smile when Karsten talks to him.

Then Karsten decided he wanted Liam to sit with him under the yellow blanket.

And Liam wanted to play with (aka chew on) the red bear.

They had fun trying to take a picture.

We played outside for a bit - it was a great father's day for Scott!
