Night at the K

Tuesday night we headed out for an evening of fun watching the Royals play.  The group we were with had a catered dinner from Jack Stack BBQ which we loved!  Karsten ate his dinner quickly so he could eat the cookie he snatched from the buffet table.
 



They gave everyone matching hats - don't my boys look cute! I was going to take a picture of Karsten and Scott when a nice couple stopped and offered to take the picture of all of us!


This cracks me up - Karsten was having trouble keeping his hat up.  After this, he let us help him tighten his hat so it fit better.

Once we got to our seats, Liam was getting restless and tired.  Thankfully he fell asleep for about an hour!


Having a snack while watching the game. When the food vendors walked by and yelled what they were selling, Karsten would look up at them and raise his hand, like "sure, I'll take one".  It didn't seem to bother if it was a beer man or cotton candy man - he tried to flag them all down.


After he was brave and saw the TBones mascot, he was excited to see Slugger up close.  He kept getting confusing Sluggers name and calling him tigger.

We made it to the bottom of the sixth and the boys were starting to get restless.  A nice gal who worked for the Royals told us that the boys could get a certificate since it was their first game, so off we headed to guest services for their certificate.


We headed home with two very sleepy boys - Liam fell asleep right away and Karsten chatted with us allll the way home.  He had a great time and wore his hat for the next several days!
