Checklist

When we started our 'Christmas vacation', I had a long list of things I wanted to accomplish.  Catch up on blogging, print pictures, organize my side of the office, organize the toy closet, and several other odds and ends.  Instead, we spent lots of time playing and enjoying our time as a family.  Time well spent - I checked a few things off the list, but mostly decided that it could all wait.

On my last vacation day, we sent the boys to Gail's then Scott and I rushed around making returns, running errands and having lunch at a non-kid friendly restaurant.

One item we were searching for was bins to corral toys in the toy closet.  I was tired of the mess and was ready to get organized.  We checked out Bed, Bath & Beyond, Target, Walmart, Big Lots, then we hit the jackpot at Dollar General.  We found a few of these great blue and green totes.  Three stores later, we had all of the totes I needed.  Have I mentioned that Scott is soooo patient to put up with my whims like this? :)

We relocated some underutilized shelves from the garage and they were a perfect fit for the space. We're trying out the toys in these totes to make sure the combinations make sense before I label the totes.

Watch out house - one organized room down and I LOVE it.  I'm on a roll....what's next?
