We couldn't wait to give it a try, and our lazy Saturday was the perfect opportunity. We quickly realized that this recipe for meatballs was going to give us extra to freeze - yay! I love having homemade meals in the freezer for busy days.

While Scott made the meatballs, I made the marinara sauce. We sampled it after it cooked for a bit - it was awesome!

We were so excited about the meatballs and sauce that we almost forgot to make pasta!

These two entertained themselves with the bar stools while we cooked. For a while they had a 'fort' under the stools where they would play with their toys. Then, Karsten hopped on top of the stool and Liam wanted to do the same.

After saying 'uhhhh' 'uhhhh' (aka up) several times, we lifted him onto the stool where they entertained each other.

It was a delicious dinner - I think this will become a family favorite!
We decided to use some of the leftover sauce for pizza tonight. We picked up some pepperoni, used some sausage leftover from breakfast, added some mushrooms and mozzerella - voila, wonderful pizza!
Ready to put it in the oven. I don't have an after picture because we dug into it too quickly! It was delicious!
The boys got bored with pizza making and played with this maze. The funny thing is that Liam has his hand on the side of his head, just like Karsten does. The difference is that Karsten is using his hand to hold up his head while Liam is just holding his hand there since Karsten was. :)
