First Day of Pre-K

I feel like we were just leaving for summer vacation, I can't believe it is already time for Karsten to go back to school.  His school starts early - seems like most people don't go back to school until next week or the week after.

We had to take the obligatory first day of school pics this morning.  As soon as Karsten walked up and sat down on the steps, Liam sat right down next to him.  He was ready to have his picture taken as well.  I love how Liam is looking at Karsten in this picture.


Karsten was so excited about his batman backpack.  We've had it for a couple of weeks and he's been asking every day if he could take it to school.  Finally, today was the day!


And then I managed to get a few pictures with good smiles, not cheesy like the others!


After the first day, the verdict is that he likes it!  I can't wait to see and hear about all of the great things he is going to learn this year.
