Liam and I shared oatmeal raisen with vanilla caramel ice cream. Delicious! I didn't get a pic of Scott and Karsten enjoying their Chococolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream because I was too busy enjoying mine and making sure Liam didn't eat it all (or drop it).

Time passed quickly because there are so many people to watch and a band was setting up to play. The boys were excited to see Grandma and Papa, and we enjoyed meeting their friends we had heard so much about.

After they left for their fun day exploring KC, we headed home with our fresh veggies, bread and fruit. After unloading, we headed to the pool to enjoy one of the last pool weekends this season. I've written before about how Karsten is often timid in the water but we were working hard to make him more comfortable. Today it was like someone had flipped a switch and he was turning into a little fish. He wanted to see how long he could hold his breath under water, and he kept trying to swim underwater and surprise us. We're so proud of his progress and hope we can help him continue to improve!
