Go Royals!

We've always been Royal's fans, but have never followed baseball like we have the past several weeks.  When the Royal's made it to the American League Championship Series, we watched more baseball than we had all season.  The boys started out by calling the pitcher a quarterback (hey, it's football season, can you blame them), and after several games, they knew all the baseball lingo.

Scott and I were excited to go to ALCS Game 3 and the boys humored us for a quick family pic in our Royals gear before we headed out to the K.

The feeling in the stadium was awesome.  Everyone was jazzed to be there and I've never seen it that loud.

When they sang the star spangled banner and unfurled the giant flag, I got goosebumps.  It was a great opening ceremony!

Thrilled for another Royals win!  So excited we were there for such an exciting game - only one more win and the Royals are in the World Series for the first time since 1985!

The crowd went crazy when we won - I tried to capture photos of the excitement, but it didn't translate well to pictures, I think this one of Slugger waving his flag most accurately captures the excitement.
