- He was banging his spoon on the table the other night at dinner and I said 'Liam, mommy doesn't like that sound. Please stop.' He stopped, looked at me, then started banging his spoon on his cup and said 'You like that sound?' The correct answer was probably NOT to burst out laughing, but that's what we did. He then proceeded to make several other sounds and ask if I liked them.
- I picked him up at Gail's today and she told me that he told her I had hit Ro-Ro, one of his friends. Gail assured him that I hadn't but he insisted that I had. When we got in the car, I said 'Liam, did you tell Gail that mommy hit Ro-Ro?". He said 'Yep!' so I said, 'But mommy didn't hit Ro-Ro, did she?', then he said 'Nope'. So we had a little chat about telling the truth but I'm pretty sure that didn't sink in.
- The other night, he wouldn't get into the shower until Scott turned on some music so he could dance during his shower. Once the music was on, he got in the shower and stood there and danced. Too funny!
- While Scott and I were out of town, my parents were watching the boys. When my mom and Liam were dropping Karsten off at school, Liam took his toy phone into school with him, and right after they walked in, he said 'OH, me need shut phone off in school.' And then he flips the switch to turn it off.
- One of his favorite phrases lately is 'me need practice.' It's a pretty versatile phrase - I say 'Liam, go get your shoes and I'll help you put them on', he says 'nope, me need more practice.'. Or, Scott whistles and Liam says 'me no do that, me need practice.'
