Hayride

One of our favorite fall traditions is Kenna and Cheri's hayride.  It's hosted at Cheri's house (Kenna's mom) and it's always a great time.  The boys love going to the farm, and this year we lucked out with beautiful weather.

Their farm is beautiful - the boys even cooperated for a picture.

Amy got a great family picture of us - when I get it from her I'll update this pic from the back of her camera!  Check it out - we're all looking at the camera and smiling!  Can you tell it's football season and K-State was playing? :)

I think Karsten could have played all night on the swingset - he was having so much fun!

The boys were entralled with 'bones' who guarded the front door.  If you pulled his string, he would cackle at you.  One time Liam tugged a little too hard and bones toppled toward him - he squeeled and ran away quickly - it was pretty funny for those of us watching.

I don't have any pictures from the hayride because it was getting dark, but it's always a fun part of the evening.  Cheri and Jon do a great job lining the hayride path with spooky bats and ghosts.  Plus, who doesn't love a hayride.  They're so gracious to open their farm up to everyone, it's such a fun evening that we look forward to for many years to come!
