Valentine Monsters

I was trolling Pinterest recently looking for crock pot recipes, and I was distracted by all of the cute Valentine crafts.  I saw these adorable 'monsters' and showed them to the boys.  They resumed playing and I thought they would forget about the monsters. Later in the day we were at Walmart and walked past the yarn - Karsten said we needed to get some so we could make our monsters!  That was pretty hard to resist, so they each picked out a skein and off we went.

We had a bit of a rough start - the boys had just finished chasing each other around the house and they were wound up.  As a preschool teacher might say 'we were not using our listening ears!'


Once we got started, all was well.  Everyone had a job and they were starting to see progress on their monsters.  We didn't have Dixie cups, so we supersized our monsters and used Solo cups.
