UNO

When I saw Karsten playing UNO on the ipad, I knew we had to dig out the cards and play it old school.  I love playing cards and had lots of fun memories playing cards with my family.  Let's get these boys started young on cards so they're ready to move up to rummy when they get older!

Even dealing the cards was an adventure with Karsten in charge.

Karsten wanted to hold his cards like Grandma, so she got him started and he was pretty proud of himself!

Liam didn't mind if everyone saw his cards.  He was a pretty good player - he won the first round and left to go play while the rest of us finished the game.

Liam was such a good sport when he won, and thankfully there was no drama that Karsten didn't win! Let's hope this sticks around for other card games!

Karsten quickly learned the entertainment of giving someone a draw four card!

Liam sat out a few games but came back to help me play my cards.

A fun night playing UNO, I think we'll need to make this a tradition!
