Building some fun

Linda and Leland got Karsten a play-doh set for his birthday and we tried it out today. Scott got out a paper plate for Karsten to put the play-doh on and when he set the blue play-doh on the plate, Karsten looked at it funny, then grabbed it and started to take a bite. Guess he thought that if it was on a plate, he was supposed to eat it. Lesson learned - only food goes on the plate! :)

He had a good time rolling out the play dough into pancakes.

Then Scott showed him how he could make noodles.

Making a play-doh snowman.

The play-doh will be endless fun, he had a great time using the cookie cutter pieces to cut shapes. He even practiced with the play scissors to cut the noodles they were making. He had a tough time figuring out how to maneuver the scissors, but after a while he started to get the hang of it.
