Rudolph

I saw these adorable Rudolph cupcakes in a magazine last year and saved the picture so I could make them for Karsten - someday.  Scott and I tackled them one Sunday afternoon while Karsten was sleeping and Liam was in between feedings (in other words, the stars had aligned for some rare free time).

We were thrilled with the results and were excited to show them to Karsten when he woke up.  When we told him that he got to take some to Gail's to share with his friends, he said "O WOW".  He won major points with that one. ;)

Now, any time we see a picture of reindeer or Rudolph, Karsten says "we eat them".  It took us a while to figure out what he meant - ah yes, once we ate cupcakes that looked like reindeer.  Of course...why didn't we remember that!
