Final Swim

Hard to believe we're at the last swimming lesson.  8 weeks goes so quickly. I have to say that I won't miss racing around on Saturday mornings in order to make it to lessons by 9am.  I much prefer a lazy, leisurely start to my Saturday mornings!

Playing ring around the rosey

Perfecting his front float

Liam working on 'swimming' toward the toy.  He gets to throw it (which he loves), then swim toward it.

They were playing motor boat and would kick their legs fast or slow based on what the teacher said.

Doing great with his front glide.  Glad he got the teacher rather than the helper on this one.  She seemed to have an aversion to getting wet so she wasn't a great helper to the kiddos.

He's been practicing his back float skills in the bathtub - he doesn't mind getting his ears wet anymore.  He'll just lay there with his ears underwater!

And class always ends with retrieving the rings from the bottom of the pool.  Still his favorite part - I love watching how excited he gets when he finds one and realizes that he went under water!
