Missing Tooth

Karsten's tooth has been wiggling since the beginning of May and he would gladly show off the wiggly tooth to anyone.  He may not even say hi before he shows off the wiggly tooth.

We were at a baseball game with Linda, Leland, Kelli, David, Trent and Taylor and Karsten's tooth looked like it was barely hanging on.  Scott and I decided that we would pull it when we got home after the game since it was so loose.

After Karsten enjoyed some cotton candy, he said something to me and I noticed that his tooth was missing.  I calmly asked him to show me his tooth, and as he touched the space where his tooth used to be, his eyes got wide as he said 'WHERE DID IT GO?!'

We looked all around in the napkins and cotton candy bag to make sure it didn't fall out, but no luck.  We're assuming the tooth stuck in the cotton candy - I didn't even consider that possibility.  Lesson learned now that there's no baby tooth for the baby book.

Karsten started to tear up because he was worried the tooth fairy wouldn't know to come since he didn't have a tooth for her.  Thankfully we were able to reassure him that she would know and would still bring him money.

Isn't this tooth fairy pillow adorable?  My mom made it a while back, and when Karsten's tooth started to wiggle, she brought it right over so we would be ready.  Turns out the tooth fairy also brings a present when you lose your first tooth!
