Soccer practice

It's been a gorgeous week here - until today.  The week started at 75 degrees and ended today in the 40's!  There was even a few hours today where we had heavy snow!

Since it was so cold, Scott and I planned for Liam and I to stay home during Karsten's soccer practice.  But Liam had other plans and said he REALLY wanted to go see Karsten's practice.

So, we grabbed Liam's heavy coat and off we went to soccer practice.  I think I lasted five minutes in the cold and wind before I asked Liam if he wanted to go play in the van with me.

We didn't have any trouble passing the time - Liam asked why there was dust on my dash, so we decided to clean it. Lucky for me, the cleaning continued to the center console as well as the boys' carseats - score!  Now we just need to vaccum my car and my car will look great!

We cleaned the dash, arm rests and buttons on the door and all of the radio controls.  Lucky me, I have a clean car now!  He was determined to get more of the dash clean and stood up to reach and bonked his head.  He just laughed and said 'I didn't see the window there!'

He checked out everything we had in the glove box and found these old sunglasses.  He said 'I'm cool now!'

Toward the end of practice, he practiced writing his letters in an app on my phone, but he did a great job passing the time without the phone.  I had so much fun passing the time with him!

Karsten had another good practice. He said he was cold when he got in the car but he was running around during practice, so he seemed to be doing ok.  It was still a small crew at practice today due to spring break, but that's ok, they're learning some new skills!

Karsten likes to kick the ball as hard as he can but his coach wants them to control the ball.  I think I know what we'll be practicing at home!
