Lovin' the Snow

Karsten was too little to play in the snow last year, so I was sooo excited to get him snow pants and boots this year so we could play in the snow. I waited and waited but November and December both passed without any snow. :( FINALLY, we had some snow with the promise of more on the way. We weren't going to let the small amount of snow go to waste, we got outside and enjoyed it.

Karsten wasn't so sure what to make of the snow at first. Could have been because it was tough to move around since he wasn't used to being so bundled up.

He followed Scott around for a bit while he was shoveling the driveway.

Said "Cheeeeese" for the camera.

Then the neighbor kids came over to show Karsten how much fun the snow is. First, they showed him how to make snow angels.

I sat him down to see if I could get him to try to make a snow angel. He was fine sitting in the snow for a minute.

But he was NOT happy about getting his gloves all snowy and he definetely didn't want to make a snow angel. O well, maybe another time.

The girls had fun playing in the snow with Karsten - he thought it was funny when they put snow on him. Then, some snow got on his face and he was not a happy camper. We quickly wiped it off and the crisis had passed. :)

They showed him how to eat snow - they said it tastes like 'suga'.

Yummm, snow!

Having more fun playing with the snow.

Madison isn't too fond of the snow, so she stayed inside while we played. She saw all the kids playing so she was barking. All the kids wanted to peek through the windows to see Madision.

Snow is fun! Yipeee, finally I have someone to play in the snow with. :)
