Think warm thoughts

Liam's one year pictures were this morning and all week I kept checking the weather in hopes that it wouldn't rain.  While no rain was in the forecast, the weatherman kept saying 'watch for the big temperature change on Saturday'.  NOOO!  It had been in the 60's or 70's all week and I was beginning to have hope that we wouldn't be freezing at our photo session.

Although Saturday was supposed to have a high of 65, it was a mere 40 degrees during our pictures.  I had planned for everyone to dress in layers so we would be warm.  I also brought quilts to wrap the boys in between pictures.  The boys did great - thankfully it wasn't windy, so they didn't get too cold. I can't wait to see the pictures!

After pictures, we came home and had a lazy day.  We discovered that Liam loves balloons - the balloons we brought for his pictures entertained him all afternoon.  He would bat and the balloon then try to catch it and laugh and laugh.

Whoa - those balloons are TALL!

He really seems to like music and toys that talk to him. He likes to play with this fridge toy and hear it talk to him.
