Happy Valentine's Day!

Scott's school scheduled parent teacher conferences on Valentine's Day, so my Valentine dates were two adorable little boys.  Since Scott is the chef in our house, I decided to get a heart shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's for dinner.

When I opened the drawer to get out the pizza cutter, I found this tag.  It had a clue on it - looks like the boys and I were on a scavenger hunt!

But the pizza was done, so we had a short interlude in our scavenger hunt for dinner. Karsten also helped me make jello the night before, so I used a cookie cutter to cut out hearts.

As soon as we finished eating, we were back on the hunt.  Karsten found this tag on his body wash - he's a pretty good detective.

A few tags later, we found the final clue on a bright red gift bag.  This yummy surprise was inside.  My parents got us a gift certificate to this olive oil store for Christmas and we've loved everything we bought there.  This tasty trio had a couple of balsamic vinegar bottles I had wanted to try.  The scavenger hunt was so much fun and this was a great surprise at the end.

Liam enjoyed the heart shaped brownies - he has a sweet tooth.  Karsten decided to skip the brownie and have a red Popsicle

From our family to yours - Happy Valentine's Day!
