I tried to get them to sit next to each other for a smile before I let them open their presents. Mean...perhaps, but I thought they might smile with the bags hanging above my head. Not so much. Guess I'll never learn!
Opening presents! Liam loved the tissue paper.
Karsten was a big fan of the stickers in his card - he shared them with all of us, so we all had stickers all over!
My mom made these adorable Valentine bibs for the boys. Doesn't Karsten look handsome?
Karsten helped me make brownies.
He was so excited to help - I think we need to have him help cook more often!
Liam was jealous and wanted to stand on the stool with Karsten, but Karsten was having none of that.
So Scott got Liam's stool from his bathroom and Liam carefully supervised.
Then the boys played with their card from my mom - it had little cars that could race along the road.
Finally our brownies were cool and I used the cookie cutter to cut them into heart shapes. I had hoped to frost them and put red glitter on them, but I thought I might ruin them, so I stopped while I was ahead. They were more healthy without frosting, right. :)
