Marble Day

My dad has wanted to take Karsten to a local marble store for quite some time.  We were waiting until Karsten was older so he could enjoy it more.  Recently, I remembered the marble place and let my parents know that I thought he was ready to do it whenever they wanted to go. Saturday was the big day - they went to the marble store in the morning then out to lunch.

My mom texted me this pic after they left the marble store - who knew they sold dinosaurs AND marbles.  He had a great morning - when they got back they told us all about how he saw a boy making marbles on a stick.

My mom made Liam this quilt for Christmas, but when she got sick shortly before Christmas, she wasn't able to finish it.  She recently finished it and brought it over for him.  Isn't it adorable?  Karsten has an animal quilt too, but their quilts are different.

When they got back, my parents stayed and watched the boys so we could go run a few errands. Karsten played with his and Liam's new dinosaur.

The quilt provided lots of entertainment.  Where are the boys?

There's Liam!  Where is Karsten and Papa?

It was a fun day  - big thanks to my parents!
