We had a wonderful Saturday that didn't require us to get out of our pJs, so we skipped the beginning part of their idea and surprised the boys with their golden tickets after we got done cleaning up from dinner. We had popcorn and hot chocolate ready to go and we headed out to the car.

Planning the light route is always a challenge. There are several websites that offer lists of big holiday lights, so we choose a few of those, add in our favorites and those recommended by friends, and cobble together our own map. This year, Scott used Google Maps to build a map, but it didn't route correctly for us, so we used our trusty nuvi to help us find the way.
