Christmas Countdown - Day 17 {Penguins}

When I was planning our Christmas countdown activities, I asked Karsten what were some of his favorites from last year.  He said 'that place with the big penguins'. Scott and I were stumped until we remembered the house with all of the penguin inflatables - duh, that's pretty much what Karsten told us!

I told the boys if they smiled for one pictures, they could quickly go see the rest of the penguins. Shockingly, that worked!

There was a 'snow' (aka foam) machine that the boys loved.  They were catching the 'snow' for the entire time it was running.

The inflatables were amazing - there was even a hanging santa in an airplane!

These people must be great - check out who is watching over the other animals.  Hi Willy!

The boys didn't want to leave, they kept walking through and noticing something new and different.

After we convinced the boys it was time to leave the penguins, we went to dinner at our favorite chinese restaurant.  Karsten wanted to eat with 'those sticks' that he ate with recently at a sushi restaurant. The difference is that the sushi restaurant had 'kids chopsticks' that were rubberbanded together at the top.  This restaurant did not, but Karsten did a pretty good job eating like this with one chopstick in each hand or he stabbed his food with them.  He didn't use his fork the entire meal!

And you know what one does, the other must do.  Liam grew weary of the chopsticks much sooner and switched back to his fork.
