Happy Birthday Scott!

To start Scott's birthday off right, I decided I would make biscuits and gravy for breakfast.  I've done this before with success, so this time I thought I would up the ante and make homemade biscuits.  Who knew that biscuits were so tricky to make?  If you knew, WHY didn't you tell me? :)

The biscuits were quite dense and a bit overdone.  I followed the recipe and even cooked them slightly less than suggested.  Luckily, once you slathered them with gravy, they were edible.


After he had opened his gift from me and the boys, a new laptop bag, he opened the gift from the boys.  Karsten said that Mickey Mouse picked out these sunglasses for Scott because he wanted him to look cool like Karsten and I when we wear our shades.


Then we headed to church and I even managed to snag this picture where everyone is looking at me!
